Our Promise
NH Courage & Renewal believes in creating open and trustworthy communal spaces in which people can speak their own truth without fear, as well as listen to the truths of others without rushing to judgment. We hold to the fundamental principle of no fixing, no saving, no advising, and no setting straight. By reacting to a variety of “prompts” (including poetry, prose, and visual arts) participants will learn to listen deeply; ask honest, open, questions; speak for themselves rather than for others; and trust their own judgment and reflections. These are not "Share or Die" experiences and we learn the important place humor has in our lives. Participants are given the gift of time to create a supportive community of colleagues, as well as space for solitary reflection.

Our Initiatives
Our process assumes that every person has access to an inner source of truth, named in various wisdom traditions as soul, spirit, or heart—a source of strength and guidance that is the place of truth telling within us where we know the difference between reality and illusion. We help create a quiet, focused, and disciplined space—a circle of trust—in which the noise within us and around us can subside and we can begin to hear our own inner voice.
